1) Booking Relationship

A booking becomes confirmed and binding when the client receives a confirmation email, Instagram message, or WhatsApp message from Meteora Experience.
Clients must review the confirmation carefully and promptly report any inaccuracies (e.g., name spelling, dates, number of participants). Meteora Experience is not liable for errors arising from information supplied by the client.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking and you represent that all information provided is true and complete.

2) Pricing, Payment & Price Rules

All prices on meteoraexperience.gr are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless noted otherwise. Prices are per person unless marked “per group.” Confirmed prices for confirmed bookings will not be altered.
Payment: In most cases, payment is taken at the meeting point just before the activity, by cash or card. If payment is not completed, participation is not permitted. If a deposit or full prepayment is required for a specific service, the booking is secured only once the requested payment has been received.
Discounts & Age Policy: Any age-based discounts are shown on each tour’s page. Early-booking or group discounts may apply. Meteora Experience may cancel unconfirmed reservations after a reasonable deadline.

3) Cancellations & Refunds

Standard Flexibility: For most activities, you may cancel any time before the start with no fees, since no prepayment is typically taken.
Bookings Requiring Prepayment: If a deposit or full prepayment is required:

  • 50% refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the activity,

  • No refund if you cancel within 7 days before the activity.
(If your timing falls between 8–13 days, contact us promptly and we will handle it reasonably and in good faith.)
Third-Party Prepayments: If you prepaid via a third party, their refund rules apply.

4) Participation, Fitness & Safety

Activities such as hiking, climbing, and nature tours carry inherent risks and require that participants be medically and mentally fit.
By participating, you confirm that you have no condition (e.g., allergies, cardiac/respiratory issues, pregnancy, disabilities) that would impair safe participation, that you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication, and that you will follow all instructions from the activity leader.
For safety reasons, the leader may refuse or discontinue a participant’s involvement. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal without refund.

5) Insurance Framework

Meteora Experience maintains third-party liability insurance as required by Greek law for bodily injury or material damage occurring during organized activities. This does not replace your personal travel insurance.
We are not liable for theft, loss, or damage to baggage or personal items, nor for illness, disappointment, or emotional distress. Participation is at your own risk. We strongly recommend private travel insurance for broader protection (e.g., cancellations, medical issues, valuables).

6) Third-Party Suppliers

Meteora Experience collaborates with independent providers (e.g., hotels, transport companies, drivers, guides, local operators, booking platforms). Their services are governed by their own terms and applicable laws.
We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and any claims arising from a third party’s negligence or fault do not involve Meteora Experience. We aim to work with reliable partners, but we cannot guarantee their actions.

7) Public Transport Notice

Some tours may include public bus or train segments to/from Kalabaka. Any delays, cancellations, or timetable changes by the operator are outside our control.

  • Delays: May occur due to maintenance, weather, or operational issues.

  • Role: We are a tour operator, not a transport provider; transport issues rest with the operator.

  • Adjustments: Where feasible, itineraries may be adapted.

  • Alternatives: If cancellations or major delays occur, alternative transport may be proposed; extra costs may be borne by the customer.

  • Support: We will use reasonable efforts to assist and inform clients during disruptions.

8) Transfers & Sightseeing (Private Services)

Transfers: Private/group vehicles are arranged according to group size. Minivan for up to 6 participants; for larger groups we cooperate with trusted third parties and will inform you of the vehicle type. Tolls, fuel, and driver expenses are included. Drivers are English-speaking unless indicated otherwise.
Sightseeing: Entry to museums and archaeological sites listed in an itinerary is included. Tours are conducted by licensed local guides or escorts, as applicable.

9) Package Exclusions

Unless expressly stated in the itinerary, prices do not include: domestic/international airfare; airport taxes/airline fees; passport/visa costs; checked/excess baggage; optional tours/excursions/personal activities; personal expenses (e.g., laundry, calls, drinks, meals not listed); gratuities; costs from early trip termination; or any service not specifically listed as included.

10) Responsibility & Limitation of Liability (General)

Meteora Experience strives to deliver high-quality services and the smooth conduct of all activities.
We may modify, delay, or cancel any itinerary or program when necessary for safety, force majeure, or participants’ well-being, without liability to compensate.
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or substandard services by independent third parties (e.g., hotels, transport providers, guides).
Participants are solely responsible for their personal effects and luggage. We may refuse participation to any person whose presence compromises safety or others’ enjoyment.

11) Feedback, Issues & Claims

If you are dissatisfied or wish to seek compensation during an activity:

  1. Notify the activity leader or a Meteora Experience representative in writing without delay;

  2. The leader will attempt to resolve the issue on the spot within program limits;

  3. If unresolved, submit a formal written claim within four (4) weeks after the activity ends, with supporting evidence (e.g., photos, leader’s written note).
Late or inadequately documented claims may be considered invalid.

12) Website Use & Disclaimers

The meteoraexperience.gr website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties.
Meteora Experience shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of income, data, or business opportunities; or delays, access problems, technical faults, or service interruptions.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that the site/server is free of harmful components. Nothing herein excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

13) Content Accuracy & Updates

While we endeavor to keep content accurate, it may contain typographical, technical, or photographic errors. We are not liable for damages resulting from misuse or misinterpretation of information on the site.

14) Third-Party Links

The website may include links to third-party sites (e.g., booking platforms, partners). Such sites are beyond our control. We assume no responsibility for their content, policies, or practices, and link inclusion does not imply endorsement. Users should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites visited via meteoraexperience.gr.

15) Image Use & Promotional Materials

By joining a Meteora Experience activity, you consent to photography or filming during the tour. Media that includes you may be used by Meteora Experience or partners for promotional purposes (website, social media, brochures) on a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual basis without obligation to notify or compensate you. If you prefer not to appear, inform us in writing before the activity.

16) Intellectual Property

All content on **www.meteoraexperience.gr**—including text, photos, logos, videos, graphics, code, and other digital or printed materials—is the intellectual property of Meteora Experience or its content partners and protected by Greek and international copyright laws. Reproduction, modification, storage, distribution, or republication is prohibited without our prior written consent, unless expressly permitted for personal, non-commercial use.

17) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision will be severed and the remainder will continue in full force and effect.

18) Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect upon publication on the website. Continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Please review this page periodically.

19) Vouchers & Identity Checks

For certain services, you may receive a digital or physical voucher. You may be asked to present it to redeem your booking. For security, we may request the voucher (if applicable), the payment card used (in select cases), and identification matching the reservation name. If names or signatures do not match, we may decline service.

20) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic. Unless mandatory law dictates otherwise, the courts of Kalabaka have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising hereunder.

21) Acceptance

By making a booking through our website or via email/Instagram/WhatsApp, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation, payment, liability, and participation policies above. Your use of our services constitutes full and express acceptance.
